cheese on ice folks... this dude made something he obviously likes, crafted it to fit his bike to suit his own taste.... and doesn't look like everybody else's ride. If you don't like his style, or if it isn't for you, don't pass up the opportunity to shut the f*** up.

Man, I thought this forum had a few more brothers-on-wheels on it than this... sure makes me think twice or thrice about posting any fabbing or bolt-ons I add to my ride on here.

For the two or three folks that appreciated that guy's efforts, bravo.
...the rest of you have stinky orifices.

Yup... it's his bike, it's unique and he should do whatever the hell he wants.

How does any of that indicate other individuals cannot or should not have the opinion it's ugly and looks like ***?

I finally said the hell with that when my wife left me and I bought the Harley that I was never supposed to have. I am the one paying for my ride, and I am the only one who rides it, so if you don't like it, I could care less. I might be a bit put off though if you felt it necessary to tell me how "phuckin ugly it was". It wouldn't change my like for my bike, but it might change my opinion of you. Just sayin!
You kind of missed the point of the thread then, didn't you? The thread was intended to elicit comments (as would pretty much be the case with all forum threads). It would seem you haven't noticed there are a good number of threads in which different style choices or custom options are discussed - apes are cool/apes are stupid, fishtails are cool/fishtails look stupid, etc.

There is always either a blatant or implied message - I think it looks stupid as hell, but, it's your bike, and if that's what you like, cool with me - my opinion shouldn't matter to you.

For all you know, the owner of that bike bought it like that, and he thinks it's ugly as hell, and was at the dealer to buy a stock headlight to replace the ugly monstrosity taking over his front end.

Yeah... and we should all get together for a weekly group hug, and spread sunshine all over the world.

Anything different is to be applauded, unless it is an opinon? Pffft.

Perhaps those of you who want to tiptoe through the tulips should have your own forum section. We can call it something like the "Hippies Love-In Magic Bus" section. You can all hang there, spread sunshine and lollipops, and pat each other on the ***.

For me... I'd rather have a bunch of people sharing honest opinions - even if they're negative opinions.

I saw a few comments about how it might handle. You must have missed them.

But then, do you think the person who did this to this bike was thinking having a giant headlight might improve his handling? If that were the case, I wonder if he considered welding a chromed free weight to the forks.

I appreciate his efforts and think the results are ugly. So what?

Talking My idea...

I'd put a fill-cap on top of that thing, "T" into the crossover hose, and have another 150-miles of riding range! :>)
