Default Cost to replace spokes

I know it's been covered before, but I can't find it.
How much should I expect to pay to have my front tire re-laced with new spokes? Labor only.

I put a 21" front wheel on my 06 FXDI. In researching the project, I called my local HD dealerer for a labor quote to laced and true the wheel. They quoted $240.00 labor (three hours). I also called a few indy shops and was quote half that amount, but they would have to send the wheel out to have it laced with a week or two turn-away. I ended up following the instructions in the service manual and laced it myself. I then paid the dealer $40.00 to true it.

If you follow the manual, you can re-lace it yourself. New spokes should be somewhere around 40 to 60 bucks. Lace it yourself, take it in to have it trued (somewhere around 40 - 50 bucks) and your done. I have done mine now 3 times, up until the first time I have never done anything like this. It really is not hard, but just be slow and pay attention to detail.
Good luck

relace about 40 bucks and true them about 40 bucks... looking at around 80 per wheel... you can save some $$$ by lacing them yourself, pretty easy just time consuming...

Thanks for the replies. I'm guessing it's not to hard getting that tire off a 21" rim. Anything to watch for?

Relace your own wheels? Geez, I couldn't even change my headlight bulb in under 2 hours!
