John, if you think its related to the auto cancel,
Try leaning the bike over for a second, then straightening it up (with the signal on). If it pops the fuse, then youre probably right with the TSSM
Did you put new grips or bars on ur bike. If so check the wire by the grips. Same thing happened to me, I pinched a wire changing grips.
+1.... happened to me, I pinched a wire at the handlebars when I installed an HD cruise controll. There was plenty of warnings that it could happen in the instructions.
check pinched wires as stated but also check your wires under the rear fender right above the tail light... if the tire has bumped it that metal support bracket under there may be shorting it out

I thought the auto cancel works off of changes in speed not lean angle. Not completely sure but just throwing it out there.
Just posting to thank you guys for the replies. I originally posted this in a hotel room while on vacation. The wireless conenction in the room sucked, so this is the first time I have gotten back on to see what information you have shared. I am going to see if I can get a voltage reading off the regulator output tomorrow.
Again, thanks and more replies are greatly appreciated.
John-I have the same problem only mine includes the speedometer also. It all started when I rubbed the left turn signal wire with the new wider rear tire. It's in the dealer's hands now so I will let you know the outcome. BTW, I read a thread in the electrical forum from a guy that fried the printed circuit board in the tail light mount. His problems were exactly the same as mine. I keep blowing a 15amp accessory fuse. Mine blows the fuse as soon as you turn the ignition on, but still runs. I will let you know what the dealer has to say. His electrical problems chaser will be back at work on Tuesday.
