Default Wide Glide model years

I understand 2006+ the Dyna are different.

Does anyone know the differences in a Wide Glide between 1999 through 2005?

I'm focusing on buying a 2000 and just want to be aware of differences in the other years if any.

99-01 has a more narrow rear.. huge turn signals... different tank than the 04 and later due to fuel injection becoming an option... not much really, the thinner rear tire and fender is the biggest thing .

the wheels are 3.5 " but the tires are 130 vs 150... so they will fit... your issue is with the belt width... you may need to run a thinner belt and pulley combo to avoid rubbing...

Lots of little differences with any before and after the 04-05's, such as the seats will not interchange. You need to look through a parts catalog.

You can run a 18" x 4.25" rim with a 140 with no problems. Still enough room for a 150 too.
