Thats exactly right! They have the option to pull you over now.. not saying that they will, but ability to do so is there. And if a cop gets bored enough, I guarantee they will..... cops here where I live are such A-holes.. especially in the old fogey communities (ocean ridge in particular..) Its getting very annoying being in fear of driving my motorcycle. I guess I'll keep it on and see what happens.

If you have anything other than factory exhaust anywhere in the U.S. they have a reason to pull you over thanks to the EPA. Ya' just have to do what you can to not draw too much attention to yourself. Jus' sayin'

The side mount plate is BS but...50mph over is not. That would be 70 in a school zone. Wheelies? Well that should be left to Darwin's theory.

In this case, it seems Florida lawmakers view bikes as a problem, so they create "enabler laws" to help them deal with the "problem".
Unfortunately, there is a small percentage of motorcyclists who do stupid things to make lawmakers feel they need such laws.

Well I just so happen to be a police officer in a small town near Houston, TX.
I just ran a license plate today that was turned vertical. It was no problem.
Where I work, popping a wheelie is an automatic trip to jail. We call it reckless driving and they go to county jail.
