I have a few ideas of what I'd like to do with my '07 Wide Glide. I love it the way it is but...I'm thinking of swapping the rear fender to a Super Glide type wrap around fender, replacing the apes with drags, with 10" rise, and 12" pull back( or visa versa), a set of Performance machine contrast cut wheels. I'm thinking I want a 120/70 21 wheel up front. I think it adds a little stability in the turns with a slightly wider front tire. Def, go with the 180 tire out back. I originally thought of looking for a complete set of street bob tins and powder coating the fork lowers to match. Now, I don't know if I want to make another cookie cutter like bob. I might just keep the Blue that is on my bike and chrome the fork lowers, and throw on a set of Big radius 2 into2s and add some various bling as I go. What do y'all think ?
I don't want another "glide". I am just thinking that I like the Wide Glide front end, with the rake and 21" wheel. I like the length of the bike (being 6'3"), but I am thinking that I'd like to see something unique. There aren't hardly any Wide Glides with the standard Dyna rear fender, plus drag bars. I think the big radius pipes look best with the wrap around rear fender, the radius of the fender matches the radius of the pipes.

jayson, you'll certainly have a unique machine.
Sounds like you have a good plan.

I bought his WG bars, risers, fender, etc
as new takeoffs.
Thanks for the pic. mud. I'd really like to see a few pics of this bike, I have been really looking for some on the net. I have been mulling the concept of it in my head for some time now. I think the St. Bob is a cool bike, but doesn't have enough rake for my liking, I don't like the silver engine on the Super Glide, The Low Rider is close but again....no rake. I love the Fat Bob, and if I were to buy a different Dyna, this would be the one. But if I were to get a different bike, It'll be a bagger.
I put Wide Glide trees and rear fender on my Street Bob with a 120/70 21 front and Carlini Lowdowns. With a tank lift on it it looks slick and kind of "pro street" I think it would only look better if it had more rake (ie Wide Glide) I think the look your going for could only be achieved with a Wide Glide. Leave it Blue, change the bars and front tire then go from there.
