Default So I installed my.....

Arlen Ness BS,and rush 1.75's with Xied's for fuel management hoping for a litttle power improvement, but if it's there I can not really say I feel it! If anything I'm riding slower and much more cautiously for the noise factor! I have noticed a huge difference in sound hahaha, car alarms go off when I give it a little juice! If anything I say it has lost a little torque, but it's still my FatBob and I love it I don't think I'd want to change back to stock pipes (only if forced by the law). So, what do I do to get more hp? The race tuner,or a power commander? PC is just a piggyback device so what is left is the SERT.That will run me at least 500$ counting download, go ahead and give me your thoughts. i know this has been asked before , but is there a way to lower our efi idle speed to get that harley of old idle sound?

Obviously I'm not going to show a pic since the bike looks just like stock!

I think the EFI bikes can go down to 950rpm, but I have not seen anybody post anything lower than that. Even then, we won't quite get the lope of the older non EFI bikes.

My SG has a notable lope at idle after it's warmed up good. On a cold start I don't hear it.

hey....had a similar result when we installed rush's with the 1 3/4 baffles on my kid's sporty...they are basically straight thru pipes....we ended up using the BCT headpipe baffles and it seemed to help.........I think they were $80 or so....just a thought.......Binny

dude the slips ons really will not do ANYTHING for power... the intake will... but if you do not tell the bike (tune it) what you have on it, the bike has no idea it is on there... i sugest a SERT... IMO it is the best that is out there.
