my strut covers, batter cover, belt cover, sissy bar and sideplates, horn cover, shock bolt covers and coil cover are all done up in semi gloss black...
they look great but I think I like the scoot better with all these parts stripped off...
anyone else prefer their bike stripped down??
All personal choice. Some like chrome, some like black. I'm a chrome man, myself. But to answer your question, yes I like them "chopped" down, hence the name, Chopper.
I took mine off to paint and never put them back on, I like it without them...and it makes me feel lighter...I know it's almost no weight, but don't try to tell me that when the light turns green (after looking both ways for red light runners, of course)
the parts are already black...
my sig pix shows my bike stripped down... no strut covers, no upper shock bolt covers, no battery box cover...
the sissy bar complex is black and looks good...rest of the parts make me think the bike is better as seen in sig. as opposed to the black covers in place...
