With all this put to rest now, can someone tell me if I should be worried that mine says "no rsp"? Is there something I should troubleshoot?

Are you sure that you're looking at the correct letter? You should be under the first "P". I think you're looking in the wrong spot because that message is under a different letter if I remember correctly.

Do you even have a Stage 1 download?

I'm looking under the first "P". There's no "none" or anything other than "no rsp" showing up. The S and other letter's code tree appears as expected. Now, do I have a Stage 1 download? Well, I paid $150 for one when I got my 1000mi. However, they've never been able to provide me a part number. My invoice just says "HD Download". This is why I'm a little concerned, if you can imagine.

If you paid for it then I hope you got it. Yikes!!

Seems strange that you would get a no response code and not a part number like everyone else. If I were you I would at least go to a dealer and have them hook up and see if you've got the download you paid for in there.

I'm such a bonehead. I went back to the instructions and realized I didn't have the "run" switch on. Hence, no response from the ECM. D'oh! I'll check it again tonight when I get home [with the frickin' switch on]. [:@]

Move along, please.

That's ok.

I was a bonehead and didn't have the run switch on when trying to get my SERT to connect to the ECM and wasted 3 hours of my life getting pissed off trying to figure out what the heck was going wrong. However in my defense the instructions never did say to turn the run switch on.
