FYI Harley forward controls
Hiya all, just a bit of info for folks that don't want the usless shift lever on your Street Bob when ya install Harleys forward controlls. I put some on yesterday and wasn't about to take the primary apart. So I cut the lever off on the back side with a hacksaw blade covered in tape. Shaft slid right out and rest of lever pulled out of back. Harley gives you a new shift lever which I omitted too cause the stock one that ya can't get off without primary removal, works just fine. Be prepared to hack for a couple of hours though if ya don't want to damage anything. When your over half way through you can grab the splined shift rod with channel locks and break the rest off. Try at your own risk of cousre, it's your baby to mess with. Mine didn't have a problem but I took my time.

I did the same thing last October. It saves time and a few here didn't think it was a good idea. Oh well thats just a few hundred I saved and put it towards my property taxes
The kit comes with a cover for the hole(frontside). Nothing required on the backside.
