Sorry for the late response. The Mustang seat I useis a wide vintage solo with backrest. I also use the recessed rear seat (detachable from front) when the OL rides. they are pricey but very comfortable for the long haul. I have a HD badlander seat I use for just around town but it sits me back and inch or so and doesn't have any back support.
Check out Leatherworks saddle bags http://www.leatherworksinc.com/ They are an excellent back for the money. They mount up easily with ez brackets.

I got the bike today! The bike handles very well, it is great on the straights (feels very sure footed), but on curves one has to use a bit more force/be more decisive to make it stay in the correct trajectory than, say, my old FXDC. I am sure that in a few days I'll get the upper hand on that. One thing that could be hard to fix is that the bike does not like slow filtering between cars. In general, I find that it is not very controllable at low speeds. But I guess this is a small price to pay for having 36 degrees of rake All in all I am very happy with my purchase. It has killer looks. It is very driveable for a fairly extreme stock bike (36 rake). Apart from filtering through traffic, handling wise it is not very dissimilar to my old FXDC, and in the straights it is better. A problem that I have experienced is that my right foot (brake foot) sometimes slips from the peg. This is less of a problem for my left foot because I can get it sandwiched between the peg and the gear lever. Not sure how I could fix this, so suggestions are welcome. Part of the problem is that the forward controls are near the limit of my reach (I am 5.9 with 30-31 inseam). I am thinking about getting a seat that would move me down and forward a bit. Any suggestions? Another contributing factor might be that the bike has the skull collection pegs and pedals, which are a bit slippery (but I like them!). Pics of the bike will follow shortly.

Thanks for the suggestion! I might give it a try. Is there anyway to bring the forward controls a bit closer? I think that I read somewhere in this forum that Kuryakyn has a product that might just do that.

I looked into that quite a bit when I first got the bike a few months ago, and never found anything. I didn't have any problems with the shift lever, but the brake pedal seemed like quite a reach, and it was in close to the bike, so I had to turn my foot at a weird angle to use it.
I bought a wider brake pad to replace the small square on on the bike.
I adjusted the pedal so it was closer to me. I actually have room to move it even a bit closer, but then it ends up too, close.
You also have some ability to adjust the position of your shift lever.

MidnitEvil, thanks for the information. I totally see what you are saying with not having any problems with the shift lever but just with the brake pedal. It's good to know that some minor adjustments are possible to the forward controls. I'll try to do just that and see whether I can get a more comfortable set up. As for wider pegs and pedals, I already have ones - those from the skull collection. BTW today I took the bike for a quick spin and everything felt more natural. My feet did not slip from the brake pedal as much (today I wore my athletic shoes rather than my boots), and had no problem with stop/goes or driving at very low speeds. I also drove quite fast through curves and the bike never felt that it would touch the ground. Hey, I start getting the hang of this bike

Got mine on eBay for $99. Only problem I have had with it is that the smaller bag which I leave on the bike most of the time has faded considerably from the sun.
