Anyone know if it will work. I was at the stealer today and saw a new FB and really liked the shocks. Would like to try them on my SB. Anyone know the length?
Not sure of the length, but you could just go measure them and see what they come out to. I am using bagger air shocks on my SB with no real fitiment problems. As some say, where there is a will, there is a way. I wish you good luck if you try, if you know someone with a FB maybe you could try one.
Stanger,
I like the airshocks off the baggers (can get a great price from my stealer on take offs) But read others on here said they made their SB sit to high..... What do you think.
RollaMO, you're right, same frame same swing arm, just gotta try a set and see I guess. I'd really like the airshocks but worried about the height. .

You can get the Harley 12" Low Profile Air Shocks, They sit at the same height as your original shocks, but will ride a little lower.
Should be no problem putting Fat Bob shocks on a Street Bob. The MoCo sells the Fat Bob shocks separately as the "Premium Profile Low Rear Suspension Kit" (#54619-08)...
Fits '07-later FXD, FXDC, and FXDWG models. Stock on '08-later FXDF. Fits but does not lower '07-later FXDL and FXDB. '07 DynaŽ models require separate purchase of Chrome Belt Guard Kit P/N 60633-08. Does not fit with Detachable Saddlebag Kit P/N 90181-08.
If you really like the look you can get progressive 412 that are covered like that.
the progressives can be had in 12" (stock) and 11" and you can get them in black as well. Personally If I were to pay the price for new shocks I would get the progressive over the Harley ones as they do provide a little better ride.

I love them to!
Standard for an SB is 12"
Now I have 12" Full covered (non adjusteble) FLH shocks (Motorcyclestorehouse.com) on my SB.
Now I have a really FAT look for cheap!
