Hey All,
Went to Waugh Harley Davidson in Orange Va today for their Biketoberfest and what a deal did i get. In their tent sale they had a brand new in box, Screaming Eagle 103ci Big Bore Kit and i picked it up for $316.00 bucks...what a steal huh?!?!
Anyways, this kit will be going on my 08 Fatbob. Im running a vance and hines fuel pack with my exhaust and intake system now. My question is what should my new settings on the fuel pak be when i install the 103ci?
Go to the Fuelpak website (click here) , click settings lookup and enter in what you have. the site will give you the new values to enter into your fuelpak. Any other questions, you may want to contact V&H support.

Got the Black kit....the part number for the kit is out of the 2008 parts catalog and states it fit all 2007 evo 96ci motors, i asked the service manager if it will fit my 2008 Fat Bob and he said it would. What do u think?
After reading this, and then spending some time at the HeadQuarters site, I suspect you may be disappointed after the upgrade. What I read at the HQ site made a lot of sense about matching pistons to jugs, etc. But, with the money you're saving, you can get a nice set of cams and some headwork and be good to go.
I know everyone buys the SE stuff, but in reality, you could bore your cylinders and get better pistons for less money.
The trade-off would be more down-time, but if you have winter, that's no big deal.
I'm trying to hold back the urge to tear into my bike!
Well, you're in pa. Winter is just around the corner. Who knows what you can accomplish. I suspect it might be a good idea to get that stuff scheduled as a lot of people do major mods during downtime.
The kits are proven to work and are reliable for HD and I still have the warranty. I love mine. Yes you can build a better kit. I have over 8k on my build and I couldn't be happier good luck with your build.

You will deffintly get more longevity out of a HQ kit and more over all power and efficiency, milage in the 40 to 55 mpg range.
anyone boring their original barrels by a good machinist will be better off than getting off the shelf parts.
