i like the idea of using the layback license plate with turn signal relocation. then use the kit that turns your rear turn signals into turn/brake lights, like on the nightsters... this will lay your plate down (looks much better), relocates signals to plate (can mount saddlebags). and removes the ugly brake light. then you just need to cut your fender to remove the hole where the stock brake light mounts...
I like the concept of that kit from HD...it just leaves the license plate sticking up higher than I'd like. I don't know why they don't make a kit like HOGRIDA's that lays flatter.

other choice is to get a licence plate frame that does it all.
personally I would keep the tailight as you are going to keep the plate where it is
those plate tailight combos are cool on wide fenders but they are more than likely too wide to look good on your stock one.
up to you ... gonna get expensive...
Those seem like one of the better options out there...I just worry about those as stand-alone rear signals, during daytime and at night.
AlloyArt also makes strut mounted lights. I put them on my bike... just been too lazy to take pictures and post them. I need to because my bike has changed a LOT since I took my sig pic.
With the strut lights you have to first have Dyna Axle Covers. I like it.

they eliminate the signal problem but you need to run the center light.
you could always scrap the saddlebags and get a rack and use a bikers friend.
