As some of you might have read, I've decided on putting a springer front end on my bob, and I was wondering, is there any sort of maintenance that needs to be done every so often miles? A big reason of me wanting to do this, is so I don't have to change the oil in my forks every so often (pain in the @ss!) and it will just look sick. But anyway, any answers? Thanks guys!
wish i had a definitive answer for you - i don't.
however - the dealer that i go to has a posted service schedule with prices - and the springers service $$ is different (higher) than all of the other models.
I'm almost 100% sure that the first service for the Cross Bones is at 500 miles instead of the usual 1,000....because of that front end. I don't know what all is actually done to it though.
