Default Big Shots VS Short Shots

So I have narrowed down my choice of pipes between the Short Shots and the Big Shots. I had the Short Shots on my Sporty and loved them, ESPECIALLY for the price, but I like the looks of the Big Shots a bit better. Are they worth an extra $200 (almost)?

I would say yes... the short shots ahve a great sound but are really hard to tune and get any power from.. the V twin needs some pressure. i would rock the big shots... hell i think my big radius are too short... someday... THUNDERHEADER

What Kind of bike did you say you have? I am assuming a dyna. I have the big shots on mine, I think that they go well with the bike and the sound is great too. Even in tough economic times, if you like the looks of something on you pride and joy, 200 is not a lot to pay if you break it down into regret and remorse.

The Pipes are for my new '08 Low Rider.

I had the Short Shots, PCIII and Heavy Breather on my 1200C and the bike COOKED!
My buddy has an 06 Wide Glide with Screamin Eagle pipes (the rest of the bike is stock) and My XL would SMOKE his FXDWG up to 100mph. I test drove the FXDL Stock and it's quite a bit slower than my Stage1 1200C so I'm hoping the pipes along with a Heavy Breather and PCIII will "Wake it up"!!!

that is just cause it was a sporty... they are fast bikes... the short shots hurt you on performance... but again.. THEY ARE LOUD and have that sound.

whichever you choose get the BCT baffles.... I have the QQ ones and I am amazed at the difference they make... I'm sure the short shots with BCT baffles will out perform the big shots with the stock baffles...

so Short shots with BCT baffles over stock longshots and you will still save money.

They don't make baffles for the short shots which is why i eventually had to take them off and replace them with the big shots.

My local indy shop mentioned that the Long Shots have a tendency to blue easier than Short Shots...

I like the way the Big Shots look on the LowRider. The sound in my opinion is top notch. The power on them is good for a two in two pipe.

who does not make baffles???
Big City Thunder(BCT) does:
short shot staggered for the 08-08 bikes...part # 2001 or for the quiet baffles qbl1994
they also have em for the other short shots that have a different inside and outside diameter for other year bikes.
