after thinking about it for a day, i realized that if i have top replace parts from the accident anyway, i way as well see what i can do to change it up a little.
i have the 02 low rider. i love the color but the tank always seemed a little small to me. (the stock one is dented) can i put on a larger tank and get the same color scheme done?
also since the front end is going to need some work ( i am assuming the insurance will replace the parts and not try to fix them) could i change the rake a little on the bike. does anyone know a good front place that could help me with what i would need to do?
i am already thinking that since i am going to have to replace the right control and master cylinder, i may as well pay a little extra and go chrome.
and since the handlebars are bent, i wanted to look for some internal wired ones.
hey might as well make the best of a bad situation..
You might consider getting a chrome front end package instead of spending the $$ changing the rake. I can't tell if you dash is chrome but mine is and it adds a nice touch. There are several styles of handlebars that are on the forum that will give you a custom look as well. I'd leave the dimensions stock and go chrome. JMO
