I just got my 09 Fat Bob and the first few times I filled it I figured I got 40mpg or so but I hope that goes up as it breaks in. Since then I got the V & H Big Radius 2 into 2 pipes put on with the Screamin' Eagle heavy breather filter and I am hoping "maybe" it might do a bit better now but have not filled it up since I got those put on.

I got my FXDC in August 08, have 2500 miles on her, she is still stock except for the Tacho and forward controls, my average for the last 10 fills is 52 MPG this is mixed riding, best I have achieved on a flat highway ride was 58 mpg, that was keeping the speed below 70mph, My new straight shot slip ons arrive on Monday so will be able to see the difference once I enstall them, that is the main reason I have been tracking my consumption,

I have an 07 LOWRIDER ,I added a Power Commander a screamin eagle AC kit and Vance an hines Big Shot staggered .
If I ride normal or above I get around 38 mpg .
But on cruises or rides and 2 up I get up to 52 mph .
So it depends alot on your driving style .

I've only checked it a few times (usually on a trip when I burn a whole tank in one stretch), and it has been 46ish every time.

filled up today for the first time since the new pipes and I got 40mpg still. After reading other posts though I suppose it is noteworthy to mention I get mostly highway miles and most of those are interstate at 75mph or so.
