Just saying Hello after my rides this weekend! (bike pics included)
Just wanted to share my happiness with my Dyna I've put 300 miles on it this weekend. That's quite a bit for someone who's been out of the bike scene for 8 years! Plus, this is my first big twin! My 35th is as comfortable as ever with the street bob conversion. (don't worry, I saved everything to return to stock) I get quite the looks, and the bike looks great. I'm so glad I chose the dyna. I bought the Harley lowering shocks and it really made such a difference in looks and feel. Here are some pictures that I took today of the bike. I put them on webshots until I have time to upload them to my website.
BTW, if anyone is curious about why I did the conversion: I simply couldn't make up my mind between the 35th and the street bob. I could only buy one! I have quite the list of accessories on there already!

Very nice, glad you had a good ride. Hopefully if it does not rain I will get my turn this week.Your bike looks great. My next one will be white also. Although I do love my silverglide.
hopefully many More rides to come. Be safe

WOW! Looks just like a Street Bob, but with that classic color scheme. When I first read it, I thought to myself that this will probably look weird, but it looks totally awesome. In time, my Black Denim will stop getting stares, because more and more will start appearing, but you have a very unique look to yours. Good job man!!!!

After buying my last HD, I swore I'd get something uncommon and a bit unique....well as unique as 3500 examples worldwide can be.
Glad to see that the 35th bikes are taking shape too. Without a doubt, these are some of the coolest bikes HD ever made, they will hold their value and will be collectable. They went the extra mile when styling these bikes.

I really like that look. Once again..a set of apes just really changes the look of the bike. What kind of shocks are those? I'm thinking of lowering my DWG a little

Thanks for all the great compliments! I truly appreciate the great people here on the board. Suprisingly, I'm not too sore today. (and I am certainly out of shape) The ape hangers actually ride really nice. There are some tar spots in the road where they cover the cracks where the bike seems a little weird. I try to avoid that road!
I didn't like the stock bars, they hunched me over too much. That is what also prompted me to go ahead and do the conversion. I actually got pulled over by a state trooper just so he could look over the bike! He said he almost bought a 35th, but the wife wanted an Electroglide.
The shocks I used are the ones in the Harley accessories catalog. I got them from Zanotti's for around 180 I think. They definitely lowered it a good inch.
