i've heard good things about tech cycle and they are one of the few, if only that has the o p for the 2006+ dyna

thanks for the advice.. JRK did the same search as you and came up with a few different options.. Primo would be first choice, I also like the Performance Machine products. Now lets see if I can get this done so when we take a ride next spring we can turn a few heads...

I am in brother i am in! you still rocking the kiwi front end? i was going to do the Girter but instead i am just going to leave the stock front end on it... i actuall like it... glad someone else is going to do this so i can bitch about any problems i run into setting this up!

primo makes an enclosed belt drive for 06 and up dynas as well.runs about a grand.. i will be going that route

My 96 Dyna keeps eating up ring gears and starter gears....I'm on my third set of ring gears now. Up until this time I was having a small shop do the work but I'm over it. I have the 1.7 KW aftermarket starter on this bike and I getting conviced that it's either too strong for the stock primary set up or not squaring up with the ring gear. If it's going to eat more parts I'd rather at least have the fun of screwing it up myself....any help?

sounds like a cold cranking amp issue more than anything... what type of engine work you have done?
