all pro's... no cons... simply better to convert power, more relyable, WAY easier to adjust... the only down sides i can see is if you where to get something caught in it.. and depending how many springs you use on the basket it can get tough to pull in the clutch... not really down sides though
DO IT PRIMO makes some great opens!

Revolution, an open belt drive would look awesome on your ride. One pro I can think of is that you'd eliminate the outer/inner primary which would eliminate two possible oil leak spots.

I think I came up with a negative... Dry clutch will wear faster than a wet sump one?

man we are talking like 70,000 miles for it to wear... and even then replacing the basket is about a 3 hr job in your garage with a open... super easy... i would say go for it... i have my primo fund started for about 6 months now.. every check gives the fund 20 bucks... should be able to afford it mid winter... i am def doing the swap!

...70,000 miles for a clutch? How do you ride?

I went through my slipper in under 5000 miles...

man you can look it up... just google it.. there are post with people over 200,000 miles running open primarys wtih no problems... and there is no way to argue clutch replacement is 5X's easier with an open than a closed (sealed) primary.

pros- lightweight, looks sweet, high performance

cons- ridiculously expensive, somewhat dangerous, forget it if your dyna is a 2006+ (none made- no primo, bdl, barnett, etc), won't fit with mid controls
