what is your most worthless purchase you added to your dyna? anything you used once and is now in its original packaging? anything you purchased and never installed? anything you purchased and it was just a piece of junk?
the braided fuel line crossover is a real piece of crap.
it exposes unpainted tube surfaces and is difficult to work with.
i couldn't wait to take it off and throw it in the trash.
HUGE +1 looks better in my junk drawer than it did on my tank. Plus it doesn't work with Jackyls tank lift. The "squish" rubber washers/seals are crap too!
I put an ash tray on the risers. A lot of good that did. ever had hot ashes blow up in your face?
The cup holder for my morning coffee was a much better idea
When I think about the money I've got tied up in a seat (Tallboy), windshield, and detachable sissy bar that sits in my barn 95% of the time, it makes me sick. Most of it is for when the wife wants to ride which, frankly, isn't often enough to justify the money spent.
Other than that, the biggest piece of crap I ever bought was a chrome plastic cap to go in the seat nut hole where my 2-up seats fasten. Paid $6.95 for it - twice now, because it keeps falling out. Looking for a better solution.
Ha.. most worthless POS item I've bought, were some chrome torpedo grips that I bought for $20. Those things were garbage.. said they fit my bike, and I STILL had to grind them down to make them fit. Then, after all that work, they looked ridiculous.. Terrible, terrible waste of money. They've been sitting on my shelf for the last 5 months..
