Default Wd-40

I second the WD-40. I spray it on everything including my aluminum rims on my Fat Bob. Does't hurt anything and burns off when it gets hot.

Thumbs up

I use a 50/50 mix of white spirit (oil based paint thinner) and ordinary engine oil in an old trigger spray,my wife keeps all the empty kitchen ones for me.

I spay this over all the surfaces on my Street Bob avoiding the disks and drive belt of course ! and it really keeps the corrosion at bay if applied regularily,it collects dirt but is easily washed off in the spring and it costs pennies.
