Default 7" headlight

Anyone out there put a 7" headlight on their dyna (streetbob), was wondering if a fatboy headlight would fit a dyna.

Thanks.

Look up forum member "shimmon". He just posted in the best mods thread that his favorite was his Fat Boy headlight on his Street Bob.

yeah, bolts right up!!! no other brackets needed on my 08 bob. all you have to do is disassemble the stock plug while your stock headlight globe is on the bike, pull wires thru hole in back, saving stock rubber grommet. and reverse those steps to install the fatboy headlight. the stock headlight connector is the same as the fatboy connector. takes about 30 minutes, best mod i've made.

no pictures or anything, but if you look up "mattkiwi" he rocks a 7" light and a winshield, i think hes got pics in his album...

07 bob with fatboy headlight.
unplug, remove then bolt up fatboy light ( I used an 07 fatboy light ).
plug in new light and you are done. takes about 15 mins to do.

Is the light any brighter? Or is this just for aesthetics?
