Got mine from JP - seems like they were around $80.

Give some 20 wt oil a try. Cheaper than buying new ones and it should help.

I thought the 06 and newer dynas came with progressive wound springs?

I got my 440's from these guys, they had them as low as $335 for 11.5" chrome for my street bob. They have the springs for $55.95. Only dealt with them once but they were very helpful. I will be getting the springs soon.

My SB was like a marshmallow in corners, especially if there were dips in it. I increased the preload on the rear shocks and it helped a little. I was due to replace the fork oil so I went ahead and used the SE fork oil (15wt) and it greatly improved the front suspension damping, as it should. I may still go to an aftermarket spring because the heavier oil has increased the rebound damping a little more than I would like, but if you're on a budget, I would recommend going to a heavier oil. I weigh 180 so if you weigh over 200 then you may want to go with a heavier fluid, you can also adjust it a little by subtracting or adding oil, plus or minus an ounce or so is your limit though.
