When I looked at mine I figured it would need to be widened a bit, ie the hole the pin goes into on lower fork tree. I just aint got the grinder out to do it yet tho. It has only been 6 months so if it is like most stuff round my house it only has to wait another 2 years till I fix it.
mine gives me a little trouble but I have to hold the bars all the way to the left then lock. Hopefully you'll get it sorted before someone gets the bike! I know with you having to wait on it coming in you really don't want to take it back and have them firgure out the problem but what can you do. Riding season isn't in full bloom yet. I always lock mine and cable lock it to my dirt bike.... So if they steal my harley they will have to get my dirt bike at the same time. I hate thieves!
Think I'll wait till my first service at 1000 miles to have them look at it. I've put 300 miles on it in the first 5 days so 1000 shouldn't be too much longer.
just a cheap junk switch keep it lubed with wd40 and get the key before it falls on the ground when shut off hd should had a recall on that tawain china or whatever switch
Mine works every time, try not to push in on the key while locking the fork, just turn it.
OH $HIT You have to be kidding me. On my sporty you had to push it in. I just went out in the garage and it turns easily. DUH???? Thanks Much!!!![sm=smiley20.gif]
