i agree with you on starting the winter mods but sometimes that is worse for the withdrawls, because when your done with the mods, then you want to try them out and it makes it even worse.
I agree there and I'm big on testing out my new mods. I see myself getting the label of "crazy" this winter from my neighbors.

no snow yet just cold as hell at night 30's, but around 40-45 during the days. i still ride around town, no long distances. but the first time they drop the salt, the bike goes into hybernation til spring. its getting close though

Yep, that salt is like acid on paint and chrome. That new liquid chit they use isn't much better either.
