I'm a little better tonight. It was sunny and in the mid 50's today. Got out for about an hour country ride after work. After I got her warmed up I think I was wide open in every gear, had to get that urge outta me Was trying to beat the sun home and almost made it. You could actually feel the air getting colder after old Mr Sun tucked in behind the horizon.

I guess you've seen my fairing photos ...! I just got an e-mail that my lowers shipped today and should arrive at my house next Tue (I'll be out to sea until later in the week--bummer).

I expect to be riding all winter ...

I have a QR windshield but I hate the clean up after a hwy rain ride so I try to avoid that. but tomarow it's sapposed to be sunny and 56 so i'll be riding to work even tho it's calling for a low of 39 tonight. would like to get some of the things you mentioned or some heated gear but funds a little low right now. plus I need a backrest for the OL, new paint job, luggage rack, new apes for the Dyna, ect, ect, $$$

I'm nice and fixed from the cabin fever now. Went out for about 60 miles today. It was in the upper 20's, but I threw on my Carhartt bibs and jacket and hit the road. Went by and got dad's E-Glide, it's amazing how much warmer it is with that windshield. Turned on the tunes and got about 4 weeks of frustration outta me. I got some real crazy looks along the way as well.

No withdrawals here. Temps are in the high 60's to low 70's, skys are mostly clear, and down in the valley it is running into the 80's. Very nice riding weather.

By some Gerbing heated gloves, jacket linings, etc. and go riding.

There's no reason you can't ride in the winter.
