I am looking to buy better rotors for my bike (2007 FXDWG). In the parts for sale section, there are various forum members selling good sets of rotors. But I do not know whether these would fit my bike. Can anyone help me? Could someone make a list of what rotors do the various hd models have (not dynas, but even touring and other models)? Is there anything else I need to watch out for? Or, as long as the size of the rotors match, it should be a straight swap. Also, could someone please make a similar list for brake pads?
Thanks, I might give them a try. I have heard good things about them. One guy in the parts for sale section has a set of lyndall rotors and brake pads at a good price, but not sure whether they would fit my bike (his were taken out of a 2007 Street Glide). Another guy is selling a whole Brembo set up from a 2009 Touring model, but again not sure whether they would fit my bike. That's why I wanted to see whether someone could provide a list.

I don't think it is a good idea to buy used braking equipment!
buy new pads 1st. (lyndall). I have lyndall as well and can say they are much improved over stock. I don't have the gold ones. I have the step down.
One way to check if parts swap from model to model (Dyna to Touring) is check the HD catalog for part numbers in each section. In the Dyna section it won't tell you that a part will also fit other models but if the part numbers are the same you can swap them.
dude please do not buy used rotors... they shape and warp to the bike they where on, you will not get the same reactions with them on your bike.. rock the pads... i say go gold cause they have no dust...and that my friend ROCKS!!!

You have me worried... maybe I'll get these lyndall gold pads and see how it goes. If I am not happy with the result, I could invest in new aftermarket rotors.

yes ,take it one step at a time. and as myself and joe are saying... it is not a good idea to buy used braking equipment.
