Default Help - what tool size?

Can anybody advise what size of wrench should be uese for;

RIGHT AND LEFT REAR AXLE NUT 2008 DYNA?

I need to loosen these to adjust driving belt. A dealer told me it is 28mm for both. Can it be metric when all others are inch size?

Thank you!

oh yes it can be metric... i dont know what size wrench it is, have you tried all the wrenches in your collection on it? if so, just measure it with a tape or an adjustable if your going to go buy or borrow one... but i would suggest getting a set of larger wrenches...

Question metric

Have a look inside the wheel rim mine say MADE IN JAPAN.You will soon need a metric tool kit for these bikes.The brakes are metric to.
My 1991 Royal Enfield is a right mixture of sizes.And they differ from bike to bike.I think they just use whats around at the time they build them.

If you are asking what size socket/wrench you need for an axel nut (both axel nuts) then you should probably take it to the dealer for ANY service issues.
