Do you have Sockets? I would do a Test Fit and find the exact Size, Looks like it will be a Large Size. I do not know the Exact Size.

I just measured it on my 08 FXDC and its 1 3/8 " But being that there isnt a lot of height to the area, you may be better off with a wrench, many of the larger sockets are beveled a tad at the head and there isnt a lot of contact on shallow items like that , either way , be sure to have a bit of downward pressure to insure it won't jump .

Ok. I will remove the handlebar first,, think that a socket is the best. just using a wrench is risky..

1 3/8 it is my friend... as stated above your going to want to pull the bars... remember to torqe to spec when you put it back on... DO NOT wan to strip those... something i also do on chrome bolts is i put a piece of masking tape around the inside of the socket to help protect the bolt... it is so thin that it will still work no problem...
