Default Fuel Gauge Wiring

Just bought a Kury LED fuel gauge to replace the joke stock gauge on my 09 SB. Before I start taking stuff apart and wind up having to order something else I thought I ask you guys. The Kury kit says that there are two kinds of wiring: "3-wire" and "Banana Jack 4-wire" Any idea which one is used on an 09 SB?

One more stupid question. The 09 SB s fuel-injected, right? Any idea why I would need to splice a wire from the new fuel gauge? Yeah that's two stupid questions.

I'll answer the second question.

The low fuel lamp gets driven directly by the analog gauge, I'd have to look at the schematic again to figure out exactly what's going on, don't have the manual handy.

Anyway - the led gauges (kury and harley) can not use the existing wire to drive the low fuel lamp, so they provide another signal/wire to do that job. I don't think it's a splice job either - more like cut one connection and replace with the new wire.

The Kury manual says that if I have the banana jack 4-wire system then I will have to solder spice one of the wires to the speedometer.
