Wiring Question
A couple of months ago I decided to change my stock fuel gauge on my 09 SB with one of the kuryakyn Informer LED gauges. It was pretty, but it was just as inaccurate as my stock gauge, even after I calibrated it. So today I decided to go back to the original gauge. I cut the gray wire under the console that the kuryakyn required and I connected the orange, black, and yellow stock gauge wires to the same color wires that the kuryakyn had been using. After getting everything back together I tested the stock gauge. It appears to be working fine, or as fine as it used to anyway, but now I have a low fuel light on my main console (the little yellow gas pump).
What did I do wrong? How can I get rid of the low fuel warning?
Thanks!
Jim
