Default pc111 or not

to start, i have an 04 wide lide fxdwgi.......i have hooker long shot pipes(straight) and the sc heavy breather. now the big question. i got a pc111 at a steal from a wrecked bike. i want to put it on my wg, i have heard from the "know it all's" now i what it from the real experts, the ones who ride and not sell (or just want your $$). HOW GOOD IS THE PC111? and what map does the best? and how to get it.. HHHHHHHHelp.........

I like my PCIII. Just find a map on their website for your pipes and air filter combo. If you are real particular and want to drop some extra coin get it dynoed. I never bothered with the dyno. Got my pcIII for $80 on ebay.

First make sure you have the right PC lll for your bike.

There are different part numbers for each of the HD families.

The dyna should be 810-511.

I would go to the Power Commander III website at http://www.powercommander.com/powerc...b/default.aspx first and make sure you have the right model number for your bike. (Anubisss is right, the '04-'05 FXDWGi takes an 810-511) Then, if you have that model#, you can just download a map from the same page. Try "M810-015 for Vance & Hines Longshots, Stock ECM and Screamin Eagle air filter" or "M810-011 Vance & Hines drag pipes (without baffles), Stock ECM and Screamin Eagle air filter" If you need the software you can download it at http://www.powercommander.com/powerc...downloads.aspx
