When I set the seat onto the frame for the best fit and so the rear mount lined up with the fender hole, the front of the seat didn't quite line up ... must be some minor modifications by the MoCo to the frame from '05 to '09. My concept is to screw a piece of strapping to the front edge of the seat to hold the front mount in place. I anticipate it should be no trouble with that little work around. Thanks again!

Thanks for the props! I'm pleased with the outcome ... will afford me maximum flexibility as far as dressing it up and stripping back down. It will be great for keeping me out of the elements this winter ....
Yeah, nothing special there, just an ordinary run-of-the-mill Jeep. But, gotta love 'em. I am a confirmed Jeeper for life.

Love your Rubicon ... there's some crazy **** going on in that photo. I wish I had more time for that, but being deployed overseas half of the year makes it hard.
I am trying to line up a buyer for my throw over bags and then probably will get a set of hard bags like the old-style FLH. V-Twin Mfg part number is 49-2521 is what I'm planning on going with.
I'm trying to decide what to do with the rear turn signals ... I forget who, but one of the brothers on the forum did a job I was really impressed with. Put a turn signal bracket like the one from a Street Glide or Softail Deluxe on the stock FXD rear fender. Looked really good.

HMMMM I was thinking about getting a street glide next (keeping the Dyna of course) but dam I am seeing something very interesting here, and alot cheaper than a whole new bike!!!!! That looks great and best part is it can all come off and be a standard Dyna in a short period of time!!! Oh good, a new thing to think about now!
man look at that articulation on the suspension!!! all my mud and off road photos are actual photos i will ahve to scan them... went to camp jeep a few years back with 4 blondes ME and the little red jeep... talk about an awesome time!!!
lockers, wench, lift, 4cyl chip, oversided throttle body, removeable snorkle/ cool air intake, dana front and rear, BFG muds... ahh to much to list... the PA system i put in was a huge hit in college! I have had to let it go though now i have a grand limited that is just starting its growth phase... just put on a set of 30's and hte 2 in lift goes in some time soon... chip intake all that is already done

D@mn Joe ... must be kinda hard to ride your Street Bob in that kinda weather! At least around the Puget Sound we don't get conditions like that too often!
