Default Street Bob or Low rider

Just have a Question I currently own A 08 XL 1200c which I'm debating on trading in on a Street Bob or Low rider. I should have gotten the bigger bike to start with but i didn't. I got to ride a friends Street Bob today and love the hell out of it but it was a little high for me because I'm only 5'5" tall. Do the low riders set any lower than the Street Bobs. I'm sure i would like the Low rider just as much as the Street Bob. I got the sporty so i could get back in the saddle again since it has been over 20 years since i rode last. I didn't think i would get so comfortable riding again so quick but i came right back. LOL!! the sporty is a lot of fun I'm just ready for a bigger bike

Low rider and street bob sit the same height. You can drop some 11 inch shocks on either for less than $200 to lower it, also lots of seats that will lower you as well.

Im only 5'7 and my FXD sits higher and just putting a Bare Bones seat on it made a huge difference.

I'm not positive, but I think the Low Rider and Street Bob are the same height. Not sure on that though. Either could be lowered more.

They are not bad for a 200 mile day but not a long distance seat. I liked mine but ended up going with something else because of my lower back pain.

edit: to first post on the 09 a street bob is .1 lower (not much lol) because of the new lower profile seat on the 09's

Seat height is the same between the 2. The difference(stock) is the way it feels sitting on it. I like the Low better because of the blacked out engine, the stock 2 up seat so you can at least take a passenger, the support to the lower back with the stock seat, the full rear fender (I hate the new Bob fender), and the console is nice w/ the tach. My wife likes it better and has ridden a Bob, though she is leaning towards a Softy when she is ready to upgrade...
