Once again, your exhaust does not care what throttle you are at. That bike can run without pipe and not lean out is the air speed has changed is not the bore or stroke or jet size is there is no 02 sensor to say otherwise is open loop says it all. Therefore, you run open loop is you need zero Pcom or piggy.

Once again is the 14.7 is constant is now ask yurself if you just rode steady throttle with open pipes and faster breathing air cleaner is did the fuel trim change you at the constant speed limit is ask yourself is I know the answer is do you now that your head is not so tied up and wound up is you know your basic physicks is not so sick in the head after all is you.

WTF?

I cannot make any sense whatsoever out of any of that. And believe me, I am trying.

OK, lets start the bike up. It lit right off is it was warmed up so no choke map was used is that was for morning.

Now, the bike is idling. If the throttle was at what would you say the fuel is metering? It is linear so as to follow the flow of the car jet is suck fluid through a straw. So, if the speed of the crank and say you sucked in the same amount of air if you went 1 revolution per minute is 20,000 rpm is did the air/fuel change on one of those 360°?

All that changed if you agree that there was no jet change/no bore/bigger valves/air cleaner swap and all that modding was a proportion of air to fuel. You do not need a Pcom if you read the telemetry can keep up with the air speed.

Let me ask you this. With all the injection and the clogged up stock configuration, can you knock going up a hill with the wrong gear is detonation is like they need a knock sensor to back the ignition off so the knock stops on the next cylinder. So, either way, you will knock under the right circumstances.

If we were at a constant RPM with all the mods and no piggy for a rich bump, would the ECM know the difference if the speed was sustained> Meaning, we are traveling the speed limit and did the need to rejet need to happen if we can run stock sustained as to run modded with pipe and air cleaner is does the ECU know what at a sustained speed?
I think it is going to plot the same fuel trim either way on the sustained speed limit is whata ya think?

There is so much info is it sure is all over the place is I told you we need page after page is not that simple to learn in a few paragraphs is too complex is too simple at the same time. So, do you understand the factory service manual with the code pages is try that for some abstract reading is not too many people know how FI works let alone try to type the sequence fire of one said crank throw.

Anyways, I would never recommend anyone that is doing stage one to do so without a SERT or PCIII. Also think an expert in performance dyno tuning is mandatory to get all you can from the tuner of choice.(just ask adrianvail and others what a difference the right guy to tune your bike makes).
the 07+ bike is lean from the factory... they has been shown to be able to compensate for stage 1 mods...You will get very little in performance gains without a good tune.
If you have to add in stages you should be ok till you can spend the $$ on a good dyno and PCIII or SERT.
Right, I meant that you're the one person here that I've really seen reference it...I know that AIM and some others have discussed it.

What I'm wondering is, with an '08...running Thunderheaders but with XIEDs, am I rich enough to add an A/C kit without issues, or is it still gonna be lean to the point of needing a tuner?

Pee Tune,

It's not that we don't understand fuel injection, most of the folks here are pretty smart. However most of us also speak english as a first language and not a second.

When you are speaking english as a second language, often a lot gets missed in the translation... and there is a lot getting missed in what you are trying to say.
