Default LePera Seats for SB '09

I'm looking for advice on LePera seats. I'm considering replacing the stock seat with either the BB, the Silhouette, or the Silhouette Deluxe. The biggest problem that I have with the stock seat is the fact that I tend to slide back a few inches every time I goose the throttle. I'd like a little more security just to make sure that the bike doesn't leave me behind on the road. I'm not as concerned about comfort, though it wouldn't hurt. I'd never ride more than 200 miles in a day. Any experience with any of these seats would be appreciated.

I am running the BB (sig pic) and love the seat. I do still slide back when I rap on the gas.

+2 for bare bones, I think it's comfortable for short rides, no more than 200 miles for me or it will kick my a$$. You do slide back when you get on the gas but its not enough of a problem where I would get rid of it. Plus you sit a lot lower than stock which is a plus.

I believe JRK has the Silhouette...as I recall he's said that he likes it because it's low profile but still has that lip at the back that keeps you planted in the seat.

I just put the daytona sport on mine and have really enjoyed. Low profile and it gives you a good bit of back support. Lowers you about an inch and moves you back an inch as well.

If your worried about sliding back, dont go with the BB. You will slide back a little. It does get better after its broken in a bit. As far as comfort, its not the most comfy seat in town, but for shorter hops its great. I havent used it for more than 60-70 miles at a time, but will try it this spring. I also have the gel option and think it makes a differance.

My Silhouette is a year old now, and I have zero complaints.

And, yes, it's good for 200+ miles. Comfortable, nice looking, and it lets me move around on long trips. (I'm 6'4")

Do you know if there's a butt sliding difference between the Silhouette Solo and the Silhouette solo Deluxe?
