Default Weird electric issue on my Fat Bob

Every once in a while, my turn signals and horn stop working. I pull the accessory fuse and put it back in, and the problem seems to go away. It doesn't look like there's any corrosion on the fuse or fuse block. Any thoughts?
This may have started after the last service I had. The dealer always washes the bike. Last time they did, it started running like crap on the way home. Misfiring like a broken spark plug wire. I checked plugs and wires, but it kept running bad. I let it sit over night, and all was good. Been running fine ever since. So, that was probably a drowning issue.
I'm just not sure if fiddling with the fuse or cycling the ignition is making the problem go away. I'm sure the dealer will find "no problem" if I take it to them. Guess I'll check the whole fuse block and wires for corrosion or bad connections.
Anyone else see this problem? Any ideas would be appreciated.

sounds like something is grounding out or there is water in a conection... check how the dealer washes your bike... it would blow your mind how many idiot dealers wash customers bikes with a power washer... GREAT IDEA IDIOT! force water where it does not belong!

Do you have the security system on your bike? If so there could be a problem with the TSSM or connection. It has control over your horn and turn signals. Have you tried pulling any fault codes? Do a search on here if you haven't done so or unsure how to do this. It may help guide you to the issue with out "blindly" trying to guess. May help cut down on some frustration.

Thanks for the tips. I'll check for diagnostic codes.

Yeah, I think the dealer pressure washes. No telling where all that water goes. Next time I'll tell them not to wash it...if there is a next time.

your dealer washes your bike? I had oil spots on mine the first and last time it saw a shop.

Ops, my bad, the TSSM does not control the horn...it does on my bike as I wired a circut to use the horn as a security alarm. Anyway if you do not find something in the fault codes, if you have a service manual look at the schematics. Look for common areas of the horn and turn signals such as connectors, power and/or grounds. Keep in mind this may be two seperate issues.

I'm not looking at the same year bike schematic as yours, however should be reasonably similar. Your horn and L turn signal is (obviuosly) connected to the left hand control which also shares a wire (from the accessory fuse O/W) to the headlights and the right controls. No easy answer for your problem without troubleshooting with voltage drops or resistance checks but, as you say, a pressure washer could have gotten moisture into the LH or RH controls, an intermittant in the wiring, connections, or the fuse (try replacing with new 15A: sometimes they're no good but aren't blow). Electrical problems are sometimes hard to diagnose until they go so the dealer trip probably not worth the time.
