I installed the TT on my FXDWG last week. Noticed a big difference on the handling thru the twisties. A lot tighter on the handling. I happy I took advantage of the group buy. Ordered it on a Sat. It was here on Tues. It was installed on Fri.
Does any one know if true-track is giving HDF members a discount now that they are a sponsor?
Steve
They are as of 1/19/09. I spoke to an individual named Ron at TT and he said it would go on to the end of the month. I ordered one today for my 05' FXDL ($339.95 including shipping which is a 20% discount). He seemed to be very helpful and said to call if I had any problem installing the unit (which, knowing me, I will). I told him about one forum member commenting on the lack of quality of the anodizing process on his TT. Ron said they had a bad run on some of the units a while back and a couple got shipped. However, he said that all you have to do is report any issues to them and they will take care of it immediately. I will let you know if it improves my ride. I like to have lost my bike going around a curve a little too agressively not to long ago but I'm sure the issue was more me than the geometry of the rear wheel. However, many of you have commented about the improvement stabilizers have added to your ride--regardless of the brand. Even with the member discount, I think the unit was a little pricey but what in the Harley lineup isn't? I notice that Progressive Suspension is now advertising a unit for the touring models at $199 (full retail). Maybe one will be offered for the Dyna in that price range in the near future--although, I like the way the TT system looks. Hell, for $300+ it should have a nice pair of
t!ts engraved on the front mount (or at least kiss me once in a while)-LOL .
Finally, thanks to all of you on the forum that have made installation suggestions. Hopefully, your frustrations will reduce mine.
I got my front one installed this weekend, didn't have time to do the rear. Took it for a quick spin (4 miles) so didn't have a chance to notice much except the change in handlebar vibration. I still shakes at idle but seems to have reduced it by half. Scared me, thought I did something wrong.
Now if I can only grow a third arm by next weekend I might get the rear on.

I really hope you will ride it some more with just the front TT installed to see if there is any noticeable difference. (I surmised in the other TT thread that a lot of the benefit of the TT can be had by just installing the front stabilizer.)

The rear wiggle is the only reason I put the damn thing on. Fixed it too.
