Default screaming egale slip ons?
Hey been looking at slip on on ebay why are screaming eagle so cheap is there somthing wrong with them?

Not sure what Bike you are riding, but do a search on here for the Screamin eagle pipes... If theya re the older ones, most people are happy with them, but some of the newer ones are not much louder than stock.
I looked at them for my fat Bob but as soon as I heard them went in another direction

Yeah, the screamin eagle these days seems to be more of a whispering pigeon.

I have them on mine and they are not much louder than stock. They are great if your just looking for a little extra sound but if you want a louder sound I would look elsewhere.

The dealers around her don't bother to order the new SE's slip-ons. They push Rush and Cycle Shack.

Got a pair in 07 for my 06 EG. The sound was good, but the chrome had problems with flaking. Put a pair of Rhineharts on and love'em.

The new SE mufflers flow really well but are quiet. The older SE-11's are much louder and perform well, too.

SEII are the bomb. My brother had them on his '05 1200 Sportster Custom and they sounded great.

I had Screaming Eagles installed when I got my '06 Low Rider thinking I was getting the same thing, but only SEI were available and they were a lot tamer than the SEII.

Switched to V&H Slipons (couldn't find used SEII in decent shape) and now I am pleased.
