Looking at both, they seem very similar in design - probably perform similarly.
I received the TT the day after I ordered it for $339 (with free shipping). Three of us (locals) here on the board bought a set and we'll be installing them this weekend.
We've planned a ride both pre and post install so that we can discuss the results.
Looking forward to it.

$325+ for this?!?!? WTF This is why China has started making EVERYTHING
I'll bet if they got it around $250-$275 alot more people would buy it insted of being so skeptical.
While I agree, the system is expensive, we have to take into consideration that a lot of research had to go into discovering how to address the problem AND engineering the device to address the problem and craft it to would last the lifetime of the motorcycle it was mounted on.
Once it's researched, designed and in production, China doesn't have to respect the U.S. patent rights and can stamp out a POS that looks just like it and sell it for half the price and still make more profit than the American developer.
The consequence of someone opting to buy a Chinese knockoff of inferior quality and known patent theft is the American company suffers a painful death even though they have a superior product.
i dont think i would admit this was a pos either if i paid 300+ dollars for it. i think this is one of those percieved "hey it works great since i paid so much for it" deals

The guys that paid for the IDS probably thought the same thing when they found out H-D started retrofitting them for free.
