I have a 2003 Dyna Wide Glide Anniversary that came with the factory security system. I purchased it used. I'm sure much of the information i need is on this forum somewhere but I could not find it directly when searching.
1. is there a good guide to the basic operation of the security system somewhere on line?
2. Is there an easy way to reset it, and /or enter a new blinker code?
3. If I turn it on using the key fab. The only way I can get it off is by holding down both blinker buttons and the keyfab button for 1 minute.
I have read that this system is supposed to have different modes. eg no bike movement/bike movement but no electric etc. how do I use this.
When you set the security, hold the key fob button down until the signals flash and or the siren chirps, if you have the siren. When you want to turn it off, hit the fob button twice in rapid succession. The signals will flash and the security should disable.

Sorry to ask but did you get the owners manual with the bike? In addition to what tmithchell correctly stated, the manual will have all the info needed as well as programming your own code.
Thanks TMitchell, I'll try the hold until on and then hit it twice. I've been looking for that answer everywhere another forum told me my security system was bad because it did not turn off with one button hit. I got lucky holding down the blinker buttons.
Boneyard, I didn't but I took this forums advice and ordered one yesterday.
Got to get myself a service manual to save $$ on those expensive MoCo maintenance trips.
Press and hold your remote button until your lights flash. Your alarm is now activated and you should see the lock symbol on your speedometer. To deactivate, press your remote (fob) twice somewhat quickly. Your lights should flash twice.
there's an echo in this forum because that's what Tmitchell said.. haha
