Looking at replacing the exh. pipes on the 05 WG before spring time and I been looking at the V&H longshots .My ? is does the S bend on the rear cyl. have an intereferance on checking any of the oils?Just seems to me that it looks like it would be a pain to check your trans with this type of pipe .I am starting to lke the V&H staight shots hs or the slipons ahh hell I can't decide

I just has a set of V&H Double Barrel's installed this week on my Low Rider. Have no idea what it sounds like, but anything will be better than stock. I knew I didnt want to rattle the neighbors windows with a set of Big Radius or Big Shots......so I went with the Q Series Double Barrels. The V&H site has an Email address where you can write to a tech. I did that when I wanted to know the db's between the pipes, and they answered me right away

Don't go with slipons. You'll regret it later. You will wish you had gone with full pipes.

I still can't figure out why someone would pay 500 for the slip on screaming eagles that I have when they could have gotten a nice thunder header or V&H long shots for the same price.

I meant no offense, I would just rather have the custom look of a full exhaust. I don't mind the look of my slip ons, just isn't what I would have purchased for the same money.
