I am taking apart my fork tubes and wanted to know what other people that have done this re-used and what they replaced as far as internals. Should I get newseals, dirt guards, oil seals ect.?

 

Just replace the outer seal. everything else should be good!

 

If ya got a bunch of miles on it, wouldn't hurt to replace all of em, not much more money for having it apart.

 

thanks for the replies. I only have about 3500mi on the bike. So i guess that I dont have to replace all that much then. I am going to do progressive spring but didnt want to do much else. I have to replace the tubes b/c of an accident. thats the only reason that they are apart now.

 

I pulled my lower legs off to get them powder coated and didn't replace anything. I reused the seals, fork boots...just filled it back up with fork oil. Its an 08...everything should be good, unless you had problem to begin with.
