Just a thought,since both products claim to accomplish the same results what would be the deciding factor?Price,ease of installation,fit/finish?I don't know just asking,there has to be some difference or they would be trying to sell the same product.Anyone?
No one I've spoken with uses that bolt. Got mine last month, still too cold to put it on.
There are some good pictures of the True-track installed and hoe to install it on this forum. Try a quick search and you will see what I mean about the front bolt.
I've got the Sputhe mounts on my bike, but the bike was stripped down to the bare frame and a bunch of other stuff put on when it was re-assembled; ie: Lyndal composite rotors, Sputhe aluminum swingarm, Excell aluminum rims, Bridgestone radials. Probably lowered unsprung weight by 40+ pounds; the bike is 620 with a half tank of fuel. Also has a 103...
Anyhow; one of my brothers (he has a 95" street-bob sytled FXD) took it for a ride and was startled at how easy it turned in when cornering. I know I've startled a few metric cruisers and sport tourers (I pick my fights...) out on the road. I get to ride a lot of other bikes; from Aprilia to Yamaha; so I've got a pretty good idea what else is out there. The FXD's have lots of potential; all it takes is money...lots of money.
