Hello Everyone

I just found this site today at work while doing some surfing and read it most of the afternoon. There seems to be good people here and and looking forward to meeting some of you as time goes on.
I hate to start with a problem but I have a new 06 Dyna WG that I just installed a mini-tach on and of course it does not work. I have checked the wiring multiple times but since there are only three wires and all the lights work, even the one in the tach and it starts rightup, I am hoping that one of you can direct me to a solution. The problem I believe is that the RED Key light in the speedo is on and the engine, low fuel lights do not come on when I go to start it. You know the one you need to wait 4 seconds to go out so that the fuel pump can get some pressure in the line for the FI. The speedo does not register any mileage in the window until I mash the function key then it only stays there for a few seconds and goes blank.The speedo needle also does not move when I go down the road. I checked in both the owners and service manual and they say to call the stealer. So I called and they don't have a clue on what to do for a reset.
I did have the connector (number 39) which plugs into the speedo out for a while becasue I could not finish the job when I started it.
Thanks for any advice you can give me on how to clear this up.
