i agree jwafer21. only problem is i still have payments on my year-old sporty, and was looking to roll that into the new bike. To buy used on the open market, I would first need to sell the Sporty for cash, buy out the loan ($6k, only been a year), then come up with the $8500. If I actually had $8500 cash, I would've shopped for a used Dyna on the open market last year, but alas financing was the only way to get riding.
So the ability with the offer to get the $7500 back and instead finance the big tin, I was looking into it. With payments on the 13k bike, the monthly payments would be twice the Sporty! Too much. But if I could get that to under $11k even, it would get the payments to a little over 50% more than current, and it would be worth it for a big twin. I just can't rationalize double the payment.
So I am hoping the dealer has a cheaper pre-owned already close to the way I want it.
