anybody do it? Pics? Im sure some are wondering why the hell i would do this, but it just aint fittin the bill on how im going wiht the look of the bike - id like to keep speedo, relocate somewhere...ideas? not to the bars - some of the sportster guys relocate to the tank mount tab, but i dont think thatll work with our big tank
im gonna be runnin low bar, very little rise if anything, and i have a tank lift, so the dash sticks WAY over the top and looks stupid - but on your set up with apes I think the dash is in place. One thing I was considering before I changed paths was going t cut the dash just under the 'main' part so it didnt go all the way down and look like a split tank
might consider that for yours
i did a low rider dash conversion and powdered it high gloss black... looks 10's better in my opinion, would be amazed how much better just powdering it to match your tins or gloss makes it look... also check out what muddy did to his dash! looks awesome!!!

let me tell you, that LR dash is blinding when the sun hits it right. Mine will be gloss black soon. JRK, ever time i see a different pic of your bike I see more and more little details that youve done. Great bike man.
thanks brother, it is the little things that make it custom... you are one to talk! check out your ride man! huge transformation the past few months!!!
the swap ws not that hard, to my understanding all low rider dashes are the same, no matter the year, i have a how to on here somehwere form when i did it, if not PM me and i can re post a new on when i get home and have all my pictures in front of me, had to shave the tach to fit in the cups, then added LED's to act as idiot lights... not to bad, took me 3 hours to knock it out
