I'm still interested. As you may have guessed, I would be coming from Mn. Minneapolis area to be more exact. Thought about the ride to Chi Town and then up, but i'm not sure I want to do that yet.

We are planning to leave the friday before memorial day (May 22nd) and return on sunday or monday (yet to be determined).

I can't this year but want to offer a suggestion 2010.
The weekend after Memorial day in Indianapolis, you can do a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the parade/lap day is Sunday morning. You do have to pay $50 bucks to an event called "The Miracle Ride." Which is a fund raiser for Riley Childrens Hospital in Indy. I've done it the last three years and doing a lap around the speedway is an experience. Info at
